My fellow content creators,
Life is strange. I began my first blog about 14 years ago, and I continue to maintain an online presence. After years of creating and maintaining blogs, creating two YouTube channels, actively participating in online forums, and shamelessly promoting myself, I began to wonder if my efforts would ever gain a true audience or if they would ever gain any appreciable notice. I considered quitting many times, but then came 2020. This year put wind into my sails again, and it did so in a big way. Thus far, I am seeing lots of positive feedback to my work, and I am the humble recipient of two blogging awards. Folks, to paraphrase Den's human self in Heavy Metal: The Movie: "Wow, fourteen years of nothin', then twice in one year!" My friends, I ask you to keep the faith in yourself and in your work. I know that sometimes it may seem that your efforts aren't noticed and that many of you may feel quite a bit frustrated. Believe me, I get it. I understand the frustration, but the worst thing you could do is give up. Keep going. Keep producing quality content. Keep filming and keep pounding away at your keyboards even when others are asleep or playing the game of their choice. Keep doing what you're doing and stay the course. You may think you're laboring in obscurity, but the truth is that your work really is seen by others. Even if your viewers and readers don't state it explicitly, your work is appreciated by many of them. Prior to 2020, I had no inkling of just how well-liked my work truly is, and I never would've known had I quit. March ever forward. Pound out good content as often as you can. All of us can succeed as long as we continue to press forward and bring interesting material to our readers and viewers. Note: If and only if you're interested, here are links to the Awards: All the best, Keith V.

Many, if not most, members of the online creative community have the same feeling at one point or another. I certainly did. Keep going, keep growing your audience. If your marketing strategy isn't working, then try another tactic. Never stop trying. What's the name and URL of your creation? I'll be happy to take a look. Comments are closed.
